Trinity Academy St Peter’s is located in Sowerby Village on the outskirts of Sowerby Bridge. Having joined Trinity Multi-Academy Trust in September 2020, these are exciting times for our school! We want to provide every pupil with an exceptional experience and start to their education, in a nurturing and inspiring environment.

Guided by our core principles of Empathy, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility, the ethos of the Trust is simple – to make a positive difference to the lives of as many young people as possible, and to ensure that all children receive a first class education.

Welcome to Trinity Academy St Peter’s!

We are delighted to welcome you to Trinity Academy St Peter’s.

As a proud Church of England primary school, our shared Christian vision – “Proud to be growing and succeeding together” – is at the heart of everything we do. It shapes our culture, our curriculum, and the way we care for one another. We believe that every child should feel supported, encouraged, and valued as they grow not only in knowledge, but in confidence, character, and compassion.

At Trinity Academy St Peter’s, we are a warm and welcoming school community with high expectations for all. We are committed to providing a calm, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every pupil is known and respected. Our academy values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility are woven into the life of our school and help guide children in becoming thoughtful, responsible individuals.

Our Christian vision guides our belief in the importance of growing and succeeding together – not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and morally. We recognise and celebrate success in all its forms, understanding that personal growth looks different for every child. Our staff are dedicated to nurturing a love of learning and building a meaningful curriculum that prepares our pupils for each stage of their journey and the wider world beyond.

We want all our pupils to be proud of who they are and what they achieve, knowing they are part of a supportive and aspirational school family. It is our priority that their time at Trinity Academy St Peter’s equips them with the knowledge, skills, and values to thrive and to contribute positively to their communities.
